The Food Freshness Indicator (FFI) detects the gas produced when your food (deli meats, poultry, and seafood) is no longer fresh. Simple color changes provide a quick visual cue to determine…“Is my food still fresh?”.
Our focus is on taste and quality, determined by a bacterial count from the International Commission on Microbiological Specification for Foods (ICMSF).
Sixty-five percent (65%) of consumers wish there was an easier way to determine if their food is still fresh. “Taste and freshness” are the most important attributes related to packaging of food purchased at the store.
